Looking for cheap yorkie puppies? If you are be careful. Normally Yorkies are in pretty big demand so if you see someone who is advertising cheap yorkies watch out. Either the price is not cheap or the dog has something wrong with it.

If you keep your eye on what the average price of yorkies are, then you can spot a bargain every once in a while, but be careful.

Some people sell the runts, sick dogs, or worse at reduced rates. Before you buy one of these dogs make sure you get a clause that you can have the dog examined by a vet before the sale is final.

Even cheap yorkies will probably cost you over $500 dollars, which is expensive if you by a sick yorkie or one that has a birth defect.

Sometime people just advertise cheap yorkies, but the price is still quite high. This is just false advertising and if they will lie to you to get your attention then what will they be willing to sell you.

Either way, you can see that seeing a classified ad that says cheap yorkies for sale should send off alarms in your head.

Good luck hunting for your perfect yorkie. Remember if you take your time you can find a great dog at a great price, it is when you are in a hurry to buy one that you are likely to make a mistake.

If your Yorkie is sick, here is a great free service you can use:  Free Ask A Vet.  I have used it and I normally get a response back in less than 48 hours.  If you are going to take advantage of this service remember to not use if for emergency purposes, but it normally takes about 24 hours to hear back from them.

If you want to participate in a Yorkie rescue you have to make sure you set boundaries about what you will and won’t be doing otherwise people will walk all over you.  Rescuing Yorkies that need help is a very noble thing to do, but you have to find the right people to work with…. Yorkie hair cuts are fun and easy to give.  If you spend money at a groomers, but no longer want to or can, then try to groom your own dog.  I started off doing this years ago and now can give a great hair cut.  I urge you to start trimming your own dog.  You will be perfect at first, but everyone has to start somewhere and remember the hair will grow back.
