Yorkie House Training
Yorkie house training does not have to be hard. Yorkies are quite small, but that not does not necessarily make them easier to train than other dogs, but they are definitely easier to train than beagles.
Yorkie house training is easiest when everyone in the house is in on it. The main problem dog owners have is with themselves.
Most people claim that their dog is having trouble being house trained, but in reality, it is the owners that need to be corrected.
Dog’s love schedules so if you give them one, they will do great. If a dog knows it will be let out at 6am, noon, and 6pm, it can be house trained quickly.
However it if you don’t come home for lunch or stay at work late, expect your yorkie to have an accident.
It is not the dog’s fault, it is yours. You did not keep your end of the bargin.
Even if you are doing a great job, someone else in the family may be dropping the ball when it comes to housebreaking your yorkie.
If you go away on a trip and your spouse or kids do not keep up with your training program then the whole thing is for nothing and you have to start over.
Don’t take out your frustration on your dog, it is your fault. Take the time to be a responsible dog owner.
